Play against others on a national stage.
All high school students should be taught basic financial literacy skills. Financial literacy helps individuals become independent so that they can achieve financial stability.   Give-Get® is an effective financial literacy program developed for high school students. Students play a financial literacy game against other students in a national competition to earn scholarship money. An App is used to teach budgeting, saving, investing, owning, borrowing and speculating.
The app is used for a National Competition with scholarship opportunities. Students compete, play and learn outside of the classroom. An interactive digital board game is used to teach financial literacy concepts. Students move around the board making decisions to Give money to potentially Get money. The game promotes knowledge retention and knowledge application. Consequential decisions are made during the game.
The National Competition engages and rewards students through the gamification of Financial Literacy. The app records students’ win-loss history and play styles. Scholarships are awarded for school winners, regional winners and the national competition winner.
